Town Series Race #4 Postponed One Day

The fourth race in the Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series, the Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks Classic, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 28, has been postponed one day, to Sunday, January 29, based upon the weather forecast.

The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is pleased to announce that the 16th Annual Flint Hills Resources Town Race Series concludes with the final race in the series, the Kendall Subaru of Fairbanks Classic, Saturday, January 28, at 11:00am at the Jim Whisenhant Ski Trails at Birch Hill Recreation Area.

The ambient temperature is only 4 BELOW - so we WILL BE HAVING JR NORDICS TODAY from 2-3pm.

*** PLEASE NOTE - there is a windchill factor with gust 9-19mph that reaches 20 BELOW - so PLEASE if you decide to come to Jr Nordics - "extra bundle" up your little skiers - especially their faces!

There will be another 5 week session of adult lessons that will start January 24, 2012. Click Adult Lessons Jan-Mar 2012 Lesson Registration Sheet for the Registration Form. (NOTE: the ONLY classes held at UAF are on the two Saturday classes Advance Begging Skate and Intermediate Classic from 1-2pm)

We have a variety of classes for all skiers to include a 9 week Sonot Training Class!
