Alaska's premier racing weekend for skiers born in 1995 and later! The weekend features for races including an individual start classic race, 100m classic sprint and 500m freestyle ski cross on Saturday and a sprint rely on Sunday! There is also a banquet (pizza!) with awards and a prize raffle for participants Saturday night! The combination of events and race courses at Birch Hill are designed specifically with younger skiers in mind. The short distances and downhill course are designed to place an emphasis on skiing speed, the courses feature single track sections through the woods, along with twisty descents and bumps and jumps meant to challenge skills and technique. Additionally, the day-long event and banquet provide a great social outlet for younger skiers to hang-out and get to know each other in between races. Most of all it’s a ton of fun!
