The annual FXC Spring Gala is this Saturday, April 28, at the Birch Hill Recreation Area. This year’s event will feature food by Mein Diner, HooDoo beer, and music by Fairbanks band Burt Orange. The event features a silent auction that includes everything from vintage ski wear, local art and Alaskan air adventures. All proceeds help the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks youth racing program, FXC.
The event starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available at the door or online here or at www.nscfairbanks.org for $20.00. The weather forecast looks great for a wonderful evening of food, music and dancing on the deck in the springtime evening sunshine.
