Come join the Skiathon this weekend, March 6-7, and help the University of Alaska Fairbanks trail system.

As with most events during the pandemic, the Skiathon will be self-service. The course will be marked late Friday/early Saturday. Skiers can do the course anytime Saturday or Sunday. Skiers can start and finish at any point on the loop.

The course will be a bit different this year. It will be a single continuous loop covering most of the ski trails at UAF. You can view the map online at: https://tinyurl.com/y9wd8ces

This is a fundraiser for the UAF trail system. Budgets are really tight at the university, so your participation in the race will help.

Outdoor Adventures set up online registration: https://tinyurl.com/y9vl89fn  (You have to set up an account with OA, 8-digit password, caps, lower case, number, symbol). Once you set up your account, you will get an email with a link to “activate” your account. Remember to do that last step.

If you have difficulties registering for the Skiathon through the Outdoor Adventures online site, there are some registration alternatives. Please note that if you choose the mail-in route, Stan will be accepting late registrations.
