Currently, Birch Hill Rd. from the Steese Highway to the Birch Hill Recreation Area is one lane, with a 5-foot drift covering most of the right lane heading back to town. The rec area road has not been plowed yet!  Wind is blowing 12 to 15 mph with higher gusts to 35mph. There are about 6 inches of fresh snow. If the forecast is correct, the wind should be easing a bit by this evening.  We will try grooming early Thursday morning.


Tempting as it may be, please don’t ski right behind the PistenBully. It take a couple of hours for the snow to set up properly so that even more people can appreciate that wonderful corduroy.
