There is no better time of year to be a skier than now. It is +33F here at the shop, the trails are not rock hard, and the Lighted Loops are freshly groomed. Our plan for this evening had been to groom the White Bear Complex. Temperatures are a bit warmer this afternoon than we thought they would be. We may have to wait till morning when it is cooler to groom the White Bear Complex.
Current Weather Service forecast is for a bit of snow starting around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon. If the snow materializes, our plan is to groom Sunday evening after the snow stops.
If you have not made a donation to the trail fund now is the time to help out. Normally we use about 1200 gallons of fuel for the season, but this year with all the extra snow the last couple of months we will need another 600 gallons of fuel in the next week or so. That will be over a $2400 dollar bill.
Thanks for your support and donations!
