Registration is now open for the 16th Annual Golden Heart Trail Run, sponsored by Arctic Fire & Safety.
- Race Day: Saturday, July 1
- Race Distances: 7 & under (1K), 8-14 (2.5K), 15+ (5K)
- Race Times: 10am, 10:20am, 10:50 am
- Location: Birch Hill Recreation Area (101 Wilderness Drive)
- Race Fee: $8 (7 & under), $12 (ages 8-14), $22 (15+) $27 for 15+ on race day
- Bib Pick Up & Late Registration: Race Day – 9am – 10:30 am (Birch Hill Ski Lodge)

The Golden Heart Trail Run is the third of seven races in the Running Club North’s Usibelli Running Series. It is the only cross-country race and the only all-trail race in the series. Net proceeds benefit the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks youth skiing programs.
Registration prices have been lowered since we are not offering T-Shirts this year. Instead, there will be a random door prize drawing for all participants with items donated by local businesses.
