A thank you picnic was held recently to honor and thank three people for their service to the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks. Two of the honored recently retired from long years of service to the club. John Estle, director of competition events, and Norma Haubenstock, coordinator of ski race volunteers, have served the club for more than 20 years. Also honored were Steve Taylor, chairman of the organizing committee for the highly successful 2023 Junior National Cross Country Skiing Championships, and his wife Maria, who provided invaluable support.
If you see John, Norma, Steve, or Maria, please thank them for all they have done for the club.
