Adult Lessons

The NSCF adult ski lessons program provides training to both new skiers and those seeking to improve their skills. Classes meet once per week. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced instruction in both skate and classic technique are available. No prior experience is necessary.

Winter 2019-2020 Adult Lessons Session I is full.

Session II class schedules will be available the week before Thanksgiving.


Session I Information:

The first session of adult lessons starts the week of November 11th. To see a detailed class schedule, click here.

Class Schedule
The first session will last five weeks. All lessons meet once per week and are one hour in length. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. When registering for a class, pay close attention to the start time and location as there is some variance between classes.

  • Beginner (five weeks beginning Nov. 17th)

  • Intermediate (six weeks beginning Nov. 14th, no lesson on Thanksgiving Day)

Lesson rates are $100 for NSCF Members / $125 for nonmembers per session (5 classes in a single session).

New to skiing? Don’t have gear? No problem! Thanks to a generous grant from REI, the ski club is offering a limited number of skis/boots/poles for use in Adult Lessons classes. You can sign up for them when you register.
