FXC Intro Winter
FXC Intro is a new entry-level FXC program for kids who don’t have as much experience on skis and want to learn more about skiing as well as ski training.
Our winter session runs from November 3rd to mid-April and takes a break during Christmas and New Years.
Intro meets 2 times/ week
- Wednesday 12:00 – 1:30 PM
- Friday 12:00 – 1:30 PM
- Intro Winter: $450
We offer a 2 week trial period for all our programs where you can come and try our program before you decide if you want to sign up. We also offer sibling discounts for families with multiple participants.
While many state mandates have now been lifted, NSCF is committed to keeping athletes, their families, and the greater Fairbanks community safe and healthy. We plan to continue practicing social distancing and follow much of the CDC’s recommendations.
To address the current challenges, FXC
- Has adjusted our 2020 – 2021 programming to several four-six week sessions. We hope the shorter sessions will allow the club to adapt to changing state health mandates and social distancing guidelines.
- We will only host outdoor classes.
- Limit class sizes to 10 or less.
- Offer hand sanitizer anywhere the touching shared surfaces occurs.
NEW THIS YEAR
Current membership in the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks is now required to participate in all NSCF-sanctioned programs. To register for FXC, you must be logged in to the website and have a current membership with the NSCF.
