KINROSS Fort Knox Town Race Series

The Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks’ Town Race Series began in the 1996-97 season as a five race series. Over more than two decades more than 100 Town Series races have been held, and the number of finishers numbers well over 10,000.

This series, now consisting of four races,  takes place from November through January. Events are held in four different formats:  mass start, interval start, sprint and ski-cross with two races each in classic technique and free technique (skating).  Competition takes place in five age groups: Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, Grades 5-6, Grades 7-8, High School/Adult. There’s something for everyone!

How to Enter

School and club programs should contact Chief of Competition John Estle for information on how to enter their groups.  All individual entries, whether out of school or in a school but not part of a program, must enter online. Links are available on the respective race pages.
